We are the Northern Utah chapter of the nationally recognized Project Linus. We cover the five northern counties of Davis, Weber, Box Elder, Cache and Morgan. The two fold mission of project Linus is
FIRST
Provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers.”
- SECONDProvide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.
Our chapter survives solely on donations of time, supplies and money from giving individuals. Contributions can come from many sources such as:
Individuals in their home
Small group events i.e. scouts, youth, church, school
Students earning community service hours
Many organizations and businesses have supported opportunities around making blankets over the last several years.
If you are interested in sponsoring a blanket making event or have other general questions, please contact us. One of our volunteers will get back to you within a few days.
